25 Things to Know About Charles on his 25th Anniversary
Mountain Peak Financial, Inc. is celebrating 25 years of guiding friends on the road to financial confidence this year, 2017.
The company name has evolved from “Charles Ragonese Insurance Services” (1992 – 2006) to “Charles Ragonese Retirement Solutions” (2006 – 2013) to “Mountain Peak Financial, Inc.” (2014-present).
Charles and his wife Ellie enjoy riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles through the Angeles National Forest.
Charles’ all-time favorite movie line is “That worked out nicely, Max!” from Jim Carey’s adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Charles is Italian American and originally from New Jersey, but don’t worry – he’s nothing like the Jersey Italians in the popular reality TV show, The Jersey Shore.
Charles enjoys sailing in San Destin, Florida and in the Caribbean.
Charles and Ellie recently celebrated 25 years of marriage in December 2016.
Charles has two aquariums at home – one salt water and one fresh water – and orders his fish online!
Charles was the wrestling champion of his high school.
Charles’ favorite sandwich on the west coast can be found at The Hat, but authentic Philly cheesesteaks will forever have his heart.

Charles chose the company name “Mountain Peak Financial, Inc.” because he has always had a deep appreciation for the beauty of mountains and wants our clients to know that we, like mountains, are sturdy and dependable! Conveniently, our main office is also located at Mountain Ave.
Charles plays the accordion, but only once a year when his family begs him to bring it out on Christmas Eve and join in the caroling.
Charles has been an entrepreneur from early on in his life, owning a construction company at just 23 years old.
Charles has 4 children ranging from ages 23 – 42, and one newborn granddaughter
Charles is a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
Charles is a fiduciary, which means that he is required to act in the best interest of the client. But he and the rest of the Mountain Peak team view our clients as family, so we wouldn’t ever do anything other than that anyway.

Charles finds great joy in educating people about their investments by teaching a course on retirement planning at local colleges.
